Hypothetical question: Would you prefer to be impolite or hypocrite?

If one of your most hated people offered you a handshake, would you be impolite (refuse it) or be a hypocrite (accept it). Try to imagine that there is no other alternative to these situations and you have to choose one. What would you do?

I only have one person that I can think of that would fit into the category and there is no way I would shake their hand. I wouldn't even talk to them other than to tell them to screw off.
