I have this problem regarding spending money wisely because i really cabn't help my urge to buy things when i have money especially food. Everytime i try to think of ways on managing my money, one look at the foods around me and then its gone. I'm really desperate because until now, i don't even have savings on my own to spend when i'll badly need it. Please share me your opinions, thinking on this matter.

My advice would be to not carry cash on you. Also do not carry credit cards. Avoid sites on the internet that sell items that you find interesting or might want to buy. Stopping spending money can be difficult especially is you are addicted to shopping, which it sounds like you are. You just have to be really strong right now and bite the bullet so you can save your money.

thank you for the advice but honestly speaking, i already did that many times and unfortunately, i think i have that bad luck on money. Everytime i carry only what i think is needed, something always comes up like projects and contributions and other emergency. I don't know if i have a bad luck in terms of this. sometimes i pray that i'll overcome this kind of attitude and bad luck.

you may need somebody like Mike Tyson who now has an accountant who tells him when he can and can't spend money.

The easiest way is to stay home. If you're not in the store, you won't buy things you don't need. If you're at home, you can think of ways to use the food you already have. Have someone else pick up what you really need, but only if you really, really need it. We don't NEED half the food we have in the house, even.

Just spend money for your needs.Don't spend it for extra items like shopping for clothes or your favorite foods.Try to use public vehicles than taxis.Try to take home made food for tiffin than eat outside.Try to bargain at shops for discounts.

Think abolut each purchse and ask yourself if its something you really need or is it something you're thinking about buying just because of want or impulse. I also agree that carrying credit cards and lots of cash around with you can be quite tempting. just bring money that's enough for the basic needs anjd save the rest. Good luck

There is no way other than controlling the desire for food. The best thing is whenever the thought of food even enters the mind, you will have to banish that desire out. Desire is the cause of misery. One has to control that. Or else, you will have to earn more money somehow or the other. If you can succeed in getting rich, then you can eat not only to your heart's content, but also buy many other things.

I think the best thing to do is to eat before you go out so that you will not be tempted to buy since you are full. The other thing also is to bring exact amount when going out.
