my husband and i usually just pass by the local supermarket before heading home after church. but last sunday was different. we had a great adventure. oh well, at least for us. hehe we did a lot of things. maybe because we had not gone out on a date for almost 2 months already because i was hospitalized and home confinement during the holidays. anyway we passed by the store and ate shawarma sandwich, we bought one to share, but we decided to have one each. then i ate a balut, which is a boiled aborted duck egg. then we were on our way home when we decided to watch a movie. we went to the bank to withdraw money, but it was offline so we went to another bank. then we went to the mall. little did we know that movie prices have gone up already, which now cost almost double. we bought a couple of slices of pizza and a glass of mountain dew and we were off to the movies. i would have wanted to buy ice cream but there was none left at the stand, so we proceeeded. it was just good because ice cream is not allowed in this theater. we didn't know. it was our first time to watch here. after the movies, it was already late but we still passed by for a pint of ice cream at the store. we asked for some wooden spoons and right outside the convenience store we ate our ice cream. lol but we didn't finish it for my husband said to reserve some for the next day. hehe we went home really happy and exhilarated with what we did,. hehe and it was refreshing, too, because we had been working hard this week. do you also do some things like these in your marriage? take care all and God bles syou!

Hello spoiled311, How wonderful to have such moments sometimes... I did it many times when we just got married; when there were only two of us. But with the baby around, it is very hard to have a private time and a special moment like this. I hope to spend time just the two of us but most of time, we just cancel the plan as we can't just leave the baby with some one else be the babysitter or my family members. I just don't have the heart to leave him behind and enjoying myself with hubby...

My husband and I haven't done that in a long time. We have four children so getting out of the house by ourselves never happens. We occasionally can find someone to watch the children but only for a couple of hours. Just long enough to go grocery shopping or something like that.
