Do you where perfume or cologne regularly or just on special occasions?

At my place of employment it is against company policy to wear purfume or cologne. It's due to allergies and "distraction". I usually don't wear perfume unless it's a special occasion but I have a friend that wears it everyday. What about you? Do you wear it all the time or just sometimes? Or any at all?

i only have to put up with my work mate and the cows, but allergies are becoming more a problem in the world today. i use lerve parfarm, it lasts all day and you can still smell on your clothes the next day. i've got about 4 bottles, and it depends on what i grab to put on on what i wear.

I seldom wear scents, because I'm allergic. There are some that don't bother me, but I just don't wear them unless the roomie offers me some.

I know that one. I have even wore it but VERY VERY lightly. It's one of those that don't "tone down" after a few minutes.b

Hi cupid! Thanks for the response. I guess weather does kind of make a difference when it comes to wearing perfume or cologne. A person living a very hot place would tend to be more comfortable with wearing it. Thanks again!

I only wear cologne as perfume is WAYYYY to sweet smelling for me to be caught wearing it. I also do not like it when other people wear a lot of perfume or cologne. At my job, which is mostly women, it is usually the perfumes that cause me to not like them at all. It is apparently clear to me that women like to smell nice. But there is a limit that should be kept in mind, one that it shouldn't affect others that have to be around them for any lengthy period of time. I only wear cologne primarily on special occasions as I use a really good deodorant that works whenever my body heat goes up. Sometimes though I have put on a bit too much and literally made myself sick from the scent.

Unfortunately some folks wear cologne or perfume like it was deodorant. And because of their skin pigments, it can create an real unpleasant scent, sometimes from a distance and others in close quarters. PEEE YOUUU

That's so true my friend. Perfume does work differently with a person's natural pheromones. It can create a very different smell per person. Some people just don't smell right with certain scents.

To much is just that in my opinion too. I think if I sit next to someone and smell it lightly..it enough..if I taste it from across the room..it's extreme.Deodorant is a much better alternative in closed quarters.

I usually wear cologne or perfume on special occasions, sometimes I wear cologne while at the office depending if I feel the need. Its the first time I learned of a company policy that does not allow wearing of perfumes, there must be a lot of cases of allergies or distractions in your office.

Hi silverglint! They have a couple of rules that are a little odd. They put these rules in place when the company first opened as to cater to the comforts of their employees as much as possible. People here do work very closely. Thanks for the response.

I have seen many of my colleagues wearing perfumes everyday to get some kind of attention and compliments. I do not use perfume or colgne while attending my office. I use it only on special occasions. Actually, I do not need to use the same in my office etc., because I believe that my natural frangrance is stronger than any other artificial perfume...LOL!

i wear cologne a soft sent as what my wife calls it when i go to work. but i wear a much popular brands on special occasions. sometimes i can go to work without any cologne at all as long as i didnt forget to put my deodorant. so i can live without cologne or perfume. i think it is okay to wear perfume everyday as long as you take a bath evryday as well and if you dont perspire too much. it has a funky smell already when you perspire. har har har

my wife is the one who told me that soft scent is the best a man like me who perspire too much needs to use. if wont smell funky when i perspire and it does not stya too long on the clothes. some perfume stays on the clothes even after washing it. my wife dont like those kinds. and she has also asthma so it is better to wear the soft scent than the strong ones. on special occasions my wife loves polo and drakkar.

I wear it about 2/3 of the time, when I remember to spritz it on.. I always wear it when I am going out to somewhere special but I am frugal with it, I don't go overboard when spraying it.. I don't like overpowering perfumes.. We went out to eat just after the smoking ban and there was a woman sitting at a table behind us and every bite I took, I tasted her perfume.. It was horrible, never was the smoking this bad.. I loe to wear Shalimar and have worn it for 30 years or more, I have never had any complaints, only compliments.. But again, I never overdo it..

These days I will wear perfume mainly on special occasions. A few years ago I used to wear it everyday, and I wouldn't say no to wearing it everyday, I just usually forget to put it on. I do enjoy wearing perfume as it makes me feel quite feminine

Hi there JenInTN! I use perfume and cologne regularly. Yeah, regularly but not everyday. Sometimes, I would use perfume when I go to work. More often than not however, I prefer using cologne when going to work. I save my perfumes for special occasions.

I do not own perfume. For it is expensive and I can not afford to ahve them. In some special occation, when perfume is needed, I will call my friends for help. So that they will give me great suggestions and help me to dress in the suitable way. i think perfume is a big subject, I have to spend a lot of time to study it.
