Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Missing In Action?

Why have we not seen more post and discussion forums on Dr. Martin Luther King Holiday? His holiday should be celebrated in grand fashion - especially by African-Americans in the Mylot community. So why do we have this empty void when remembering this great American leader?

I would guess that it's because Martin Luther King Jr day is NEXT Monday, not today. Therefore, no one's really thinking about it yet.
And there are a lot of people that just see it as a ticket to a day off, sadly.
King was a great man, and deserves to be celebrated.
