Resistance: retribution is coming out to the playstation portable. I saw the trailer and its pretty good. Resistance is one of the best first person shooters to the sony playstation systems. Anyone waiting for it? Is it worth it to get? What other games are similar to resistance?(any platform)

Well, i guess i'm not gonna buy it on the first day, but it is a decent game. I'll probably buy it eventually. I played the demo (basically just half of a story scenario) and i must say it plays better than any shooter i've played on the PSP. Not saying it's 360/PS3 worthy but it has solid gameplay. Being a third person shooter instead of a traditional first person, the style of play is a little bit different. It's comparable to Socom Fireteam Bravo on the PSP. It uses an auto target assist, a simple array of weapons, and never runs out of ammo pickups.
That being said, the game is rather dull when compared to it's playstation siblings, really just a target and shoot game. But it is by far the best shooter for the PSP thusfar. Hope my imput helps

resistance has been out on ps3 and has had great reviews to it. i have my doubts if it will be successful on the PSP because the other first person shooters have failed to deliver on that system simply because of the absence of a second analogue stick. big giants like call of duty have suffered with aiming issues on the PSP... but we just have to wait and see how resistance: retribution tackles the issue.
