We all know that Humans have undoubtedly accelerated climate change that is not debatable.(But if you feel like debating it that is fine with me) The real question is exactly how responsible we are. What is your opinion?

I agree man is responsible for most of the global warming. However I do not agree with the Ozone thing some are trying to peddle. Ozone is basically a light gas that is lighter than air. Therefore it "floats" on the top of our atmosphere. It would be everything but impossible to make a hole in the ozone that would remain open. Take some water and put it in a glass. Pour a real thin coat of oil on top of the water. Now take a pencil and poke a hole in the oil as it floats on top of the water. what would happen? As soon as you remove the pencil the oil will flow back in and fill the hole. Ozone works exactly the same way. In fact all the different layers in our atmosphere works exactly the same. Air or gases flow exactly the same way any liquid does. I say the holes in the ozone layer is a myth. Our real problems is our energy system. At some point man learned how to use heat to produce pressure to generate a usable energy. The systems we use to generate electricity, power our cars and trucks and our homes all put off a huge amount of unused heat. This accounts for most of our heat problems. Then you have the increase in man and animals that put off heat. Even the earth it's self puts a lot of heat into the atmosphere. Man is responsible for all the heat other than the natural heat of the earth.

I agree with most of your comment, I have another question though, Do you think that the same warming process would be occurring at a decelerated rate even if we weren't around to help it along?

Yes I do. Our winters here were a lot colder when I was a kid in the 40's. There wasn't nearly as many people them and we were not producing the energy then that we are now. If man just vanished from the earth there would be a quick drop in the heat the earth is putting off.Trees would grow back and more land would be shaded. That would mean a lot less of the sun's energy would be absorbed by the earth. This would increase the rain in warm weather and the snow in the cold weather. Art

PS; I'm sorry I miss read your question. No the temp would reverse and start falling. Cooler summers and colder winters. The temp rises and falls a little naturally but it wouldn't be enough to amount to anything. Art

If man is responsible why are Mars, Venus and the Moon also getting warmer? Why has global warming gotten worse now that we have reduced the emissions and cut pollution? We were to save the environment when we stitched from Leaded Gas to Unleaded Gas. One Volcano will give off more CO2 and pollution than man does in years. Man made Global Warming is false science.

Scientists have come to different conclusions when it comes to climate change. Therefore to try to place blame on humans would be taking theories and making them facts. Humans should, however, live in a sustainable way, and the fact of the matter is that many of the things that have been associated with climate change are not sustainable anyway, and it would be in our interest to make a change.
