I just bought a brand new tower last year! After like using my old one for about six years. I decided to buy a brand new one, because since windows vista has been around, if i had to update my old computer, i'll have to not only get extra ram but also memory space. So instead of spending money on getting bits and pieces, which may add up to a lot, i decided to just buy a brand new tower :) Its faster, easier and much more efficient than to update each software and hardware one by one for me. (Now my sister uses my old computer, which isn't bad at all)

things can go a long way if you take care of something even if you just update a computer. such a our neighbor gave us a lawn mower to use as he finally bought a new one and was in good working condition. the date the lawn mower was made i saw was 1963.

Now you can probably buy a new faster computer cheaper than you can buy the parts to upgrade one. Some can't be upgraded enough to mess with it. However some of the new ones are made real cheap and you can trash one pretty easy. I don't like the SATA hard drives that comes in the new ones. I don't like the windows Vista that comes on most of the new ones. Art
