Do you still purchase cds?

Do you still buy cds? Or do you purchase songs online to download to your mp3 player? It is cheaper to buy songs online for like 99cents and you can just buy songs you like. I still like to buy cds even if I only like 3-4 songs out 12 or whatever. I hate my ipod, too many problems. Maybe if I had a better mp3 player, I would just purchase and download songs online. How do you purchase your music?

I rarely purchase a cd anylonger. It is so much easier to use iTunes and upload into my ipod. It is really nice to just get what you want and not having to store cd's. You also save money this way and save the environment as well. The downside is that there may have been an awesome song on the cd that never got airplay and you will probably never know about it. Some of my favorites have been other cuts off the cd or album other than the hit song. but......there have been many cd's or albums I have bought where most of the other songs I have not liked at all. I am older and come from the era of vinyl and even though technologically music is better now and more convenient I did like those album covers and the artwork but it is better now and much more portable. This summer I want to go to some garage sales and see if I can pick up some cd's of older music and add to my music library, not really planning on buying any new ones.

I still buy CDs, especially if it's one of my favorite bands. I love my iPod but I can't listen to it everywhere, so CDs are good to have, especially in my car. I also download songs but it's usually by an artist I don't know much about and like one of their songs. Then I'll do a little research and if I like them, I'll probably buy the CD. If not, I still have the song I like without having to buy the entire album like I used to do. I love that I can get just one song now and not have to spend money on an album I know I'm not going to like.

I only purchase CDs occasionally nowadays. We tend to download our favourite songs as it so much easier and often cheaper. :)

No, I no longer purchase CDs, and in my opinion, they're fast becoming obsolete as a meium for listening to music. Many people say that they purchase CDs since the cover and the interactive program that comes with some CDs let you engage more personally with the music, but some sites have already begun to specialize in this, in that they also offer downloads of live sets and interactive digital booklets.

Yes, I do purchase CDs because I get a whole lot of songs at a single place. I don't want to waste time in downloading the songs. I think buying cds is cheaper than downloading as internet also costs a lot in some places.

I can remember the last time I bought a CD. For now, thanks to the convenient internet I often listen to some online music.
