How many of you bang the TV remote on the ground when you get angry?

In my family, all the three of us have this bad habit. So far we changed 4 remotes. The TV is just 4 years old. We know it's bad, but it happens in just a moment. What about you?

I do. I am very short-tempered and its been quite a few times that I have banged the remote on the floor, specially when my son is hooked to the TV and ignoring me completely. However, I have put it together again without much fuss…I mean only the cover of the battery compartment has become loose and we tie it togther with a rubber band. I did not know that only remotes were for sale in the market…which brand of TV do you use?

I feel bit relieved that I am not alone. My TV is Sony Wega 21" bought in 2004.

Because it was the only thing I have had handy then. And sometimes it ends an endless argument. I just enjoyed your accent.

Well I think you and your family need to learn how to control your emotions and stop acting like little kids. If they did that they would be punished. No I don't do things like that. I go fishing instead. :)

That is so funny what makes you so mad that you bang the tv remote on the floor? I would never do that. My husband has thrown the remote because I was talking to him during a washington redskins football game. He is a avid redskins fan and loves his football. and he has et to break the remote. You guys must be slamming your remotes down pretty hard. Maybe you should try jogging when you are angry it really helps. Then you would not have to break any more remotes.

This is real bad, how can one act so foolishly. Your whole family needs to sit down and try anger management programmes. Id hate to be married in such a family. Better learn to control your anger before it eats you and your family up.
