Alternatives to Adsense?

hello, i am new to this site. I had had some bad luck with similar sites and PTCs, and I delayed joining this site since i became more interested in freelancing,....but now, after joining, this seems to be a lovely place. i had created a blog on blogspot a few days back and had applied for Google adsense. But they rejected it saying that, to be approved, they need sites that have been active for at least 6 months.....what can i do about that? Also, please suggest other sites that let us show their adds and pays us for that. I want to know which of these pays the most and which are the best ones.
