Do your kids watch Noggin?

My son loves the noggin channel though he doesnt really watch t.v. he loves all the educatiuonal cartoons. The commercials say that is it like pre-school on t.v. and I know that my son is definitely learning things from the cartoons he picks things up quickly and pays close attention to detail. His favorite cartoons on there is Lil Bill, Jacks Big Music Show, Blues Clues...I thought that the programs seemed a little old for him being that he is not even two yet but he doesnt like the baby einstein movies they just don't hold his attention. So what do you guys think about Noggin? Is it really that good of a channel?

Yea I think it was set-up really well. I know it's hard for me to find something that he likes and when we do we have to stick with it. thanks for your response.

We don't get Noggin. I would have to upgrade my satellite package to get it. It is high enough already. My kids mostly watch PBS, Nick, and Disney Channel. My son sometimes watches Cartoon Network, but there is nothing educational on there.

Yea I don't really let my son watch the cartoon network I mean as young as he is I limit his time to watch these things I dont want him to grow up being a coach potato relying on tv to relieve his boredom. Like right this second he is in his crib playing while I try to clean the house and get some things done and the Backyardigans are on it is an awesome show that promotes using your imagination. But he is playing and not really paying attention to the show now in about 30 mins he will lay down on his pillow and watch till he falls asleep. Gradyn watched alot of PBS too like Sid the Science kid and Word World but not that we have cable he seems to like the sprout and noggin channels better. To me they are all good channels.

I do not know much about Noggin Channel. What we have here is the Nickelodeon Channel. My little friend who is about two do not really fancy that channel much. She prefers to watch Disney channel instead. Especially the early mornings when Mickey and friends are on. She would dance with mickey and friends. And she would even try to mouth what ever they are saying. She has also picked up quite a bit of things from the show too. Now she knows how to do the dance with one leg. And the cute song she hums also comes from the show. The other one she loves to watch is Barney. She never seem to get sick of that purple dinosaur. I wonder why. Turn around, you show her seaseme street, she has no interest in them at all.
