How are you a recessionista?

Let's face it--it's coming onto our faces.
RECESSION.
Yep, we're feelin' it. Though in our country it's not really that bad. Gas prices are doing down, water bill's gone up; rollback on the daily fare, price increase on the groceries. It's a love-hate thing over here, whereas it's Dantes Inferno for the rest of the world.
Okay, I'm part-thankful that I live here.
It's terrible how things have gone down right now, but I want to know--how do you cope with recession? I know it's a lot of cost cutting here and there, but yeah. I want to know. I may just be the resident teenager, but I want in on the news, as well. Duh.
Okay--here's how I cope with my miniature version of recession. I bring my own snacks--even the coffee sachets--to school. Uni's prices are practically double than the food really is in the supermarket. I also--well, this one. I try to make money online. I make pennies, but I can make do with that. I don't really mind typing my brains away: it gives me money and exercises my brains as well.
I don't let my parents buy every thing for me; I buy some stuff for myself as well.
How about you?
