Clinton talks about how to deal with Humas

Hilary Clinton said today that talks with Humas are impossible until Humas agrees to recognized Israel, renounced violence and follows through on previous agreements. She also said that herself and Obama were "deeply sympathic" to Israel's right to defend itself. She wants a "real and lasting sense of security for Israel". What do you make of her comments? Do you think she can get Humas to agree to this ? Can she broker a lasting peace between them? Can anyone actually broker peace between these two countries?

I found myself thinking there was a wink going on somewhere when she said those words.. That was just my impression.. guess I'm not too trusting in my old (er, young) age!

P.S. - Hamas (and others) will never recognize Israel! Anti-semitism is on the rise around the world.. Someday armies of the nations will surround Israel, even after a loose 'world peace' (and gov) has been celebrated. (Mike is right about the book of revelation.) And when it goes nuclear (fire 'comes down' is when the saints 'go up', which is the seven bowls (last) of revelation going concurrently.. (just a little bible prophecy trivia concerning the issue..)

yep I agree. Which means if she holds to what she said she will never be talking to Humas sense they will never recongize Israel.
