When I think of India, I think of the beautiful clothing that the women wear, and also that the women have beautiful faces. I know a few Indian families, and they have shared with me the spicy food, the long movies, and the dancing! It seems like a beautiful culture.

Like many countries, I am sure that India has its good and bad points. I have never been to India but has met some ex-pats who have emigrated to my country, Australia. And on the whole they have been very nice, hard working and admit that they came to our country for a better life for their family. I do not understand the corruption that exists in many parts of India, particularly when there are so many poor and needy in your country. That is a situation that does need to be addressed urgently and it can only be done by the population. Also India has many call centres there now and some are Australian companies. Regrettably, there is also corruption at the call centres as well and although not everyone would be involved, the fact that even one person is one too many. I have changed from any business that has a call centre in India because there is photographic evidence of someone selling personal confidential information of non-Indians. That is sad and those corrupt people are a blight on the whole country. I hope that the population will deal with these sort of corrupt people swiftly and harshly.

You have mentioned here the unenthusiastic part of the country. Off course, every country has its merits and demerits, your country will also. The other features of India are so beautiful. India is very rich in cultures & heritages, Different of geography & locations, sweet and fascinating peoples, different type of holy places. And the list is on and on. If you got time visit this grate country once in your life, your all the notion will change into love and affection.

I really enjoy learning about Indian Culture and customs, and really been inspired by Hinduism, as well as my internet friend... from India gives me alot of hope. I find people from India sweet, and fascinating, only thing I do not like is the dowry, arranged marriages, and caste system problem... I really love the movies and documentaries of the different temples, and loved Ghandi.... I think India like every country has their good and bad, but I am really drawn to many of their peaceful customs, and been inspired by their spiritual traditions. I am glad I am friends with Swami Vivekanda, (hope I spelled his name right) He is from Indore, India, and gives me alot of hope, and reminds me of ways to find happiness when I need it the most. I am from the Wisconsin,USA Only other thing I do not like about India, is I am stalked by a few different groups who believe I am an avatar of a Goddess or a God. Sorry people. I am not avatar I am honored by the belief and thought. But I will not lie, and mislead people. :) . I am just a boring human with extraordinary experiences to share. Take Care, - DNatureofDTrain

To be honest with you, I view everyone the same way no matter where they are from. I feel that no one is better than anyone else. Every country has things that make them special and things that make them seem less appealing to others. I don't know that much about India or any other place for that matter.
