hello fellow mylotters, Yesterday, our eldest son went home with his big smile in his face telling everyone that he is included in the Dean's List. And because of this, I can't help myself to share to you the good news that our son brought to us. It's really something to be proud of and to celebrate. I still can remember the first time he has his quiz that he kept on saying it's so difficult. That he might not make it especially that there is quota in his course - he's taking up Nursing. We kept on telling him that just do his best, that nothing is difficult if you're really studying. We even told him, that it's okey to get a passing grade as long as you'll not get failed. We really are not expecting that this will happen to him. We're so blessed and thankful that all his efforts and hardship in studying paidoff. Hoping that he'll be included to the quota. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and comments. Appreciate it.

Hello nanayangel, I wish it comes with some kind of scholarship. I think it's just the ranking of all students for this school and he made it to the top 100 of his class, which is quite a good achievement. Thanks.

Congratulations. With all the bad things kids can find to do these days it is especially refreshing to hear when one does something good and feels good about himself for doing it. This sets an upward spiral where he will keep trying to do well and succeeding. Yayyyyy.

Hi robert19ph, Well done to your son, you must be so very proud of him, he can only do his best and he proved that he can. he will go far. To do nursing is he has to be gifted as there are not many that would want to do that, it hard work and you got have the stamch for it, I know that I couldn't. Godd luck to him for his future. Tamara

Hello tamarafireheart, Yeah, we are very proud of him. You are right that Nursing is a hard course to take. There is a lot of students taking up Nursing and there are only few schools which have good standard and so my son is under pressure to keep his grades ok so he won't kick out by the school because they are maintaining a quota of students. I hope he can continue with the challenge. Thanks.

Well it is really a time to celebrate that victory. Just keep on reassuring your son that he can make it so he can be inspired to continue on with his studies. i believe that there is a big factor from parents to encourage and show support in their endeavour in their studies. If he could maintain that then that would be agood start in his career as well.

Hi Robert, you've got a prize from your eldest son. That is one thing that your son tried himself to make you happy. Be thankful and appreciate what he has given you. There is more to that when he recognize he'd been appreciated by a lovable father. This happens to me. I also get a share of love from my son who tried his best in school, getting higher grades when I tried to keep tracking his grades. Appreciate it. Happymylotting!

Hello robert19ph! I am so proud of your son too. It's hard to be a dean's lister. I really tried it but it's very hard. I am pretty sure that you're a proud father. Congratulations and you made a very good job with your children.
