Promoting consumption to help maintain economy

Several years ago, we started to have gov. organized shelter markets before the spring festival, where goods of speciality are sold, from all of the country. That has been a feast for all housewives. I read in the paper that for this year, the stall rent is exempted, and even manufacturers joined the farmers in such markets. The customers get more benefits from direct sales. In the coming years, promoting home consumption is to be one of the major means to balance reduction of export, to help manufacturers to keep operation at reasonable cost. They are encouraged by gov. also with subsidies for retaining employees, partial refunding of export duties, and reduction of income taxation, etc. Hope they can survive and recover soon.
