Have you ever had your power cut off even though you payed your bill??

Oh yes this has happened to me. The power man pulled up one day and jumped out of his truck and pulled my meter. Then when I called the power company the man told the lady at the light department that he did not cut my power off. I was angry. I found my bill and told her who I was and to tell him my name and whose name the power bill was in and then he came in like 5 minutes to turn it back on. It was suppose to have been a house across the road. I was so upset. Then when he came back he was all apologizing for it and wanted to talk about my animals. He wanted to know how I kept them since they run lose. He said all his runaway!! It was not the time for smalltalk but I was nice to him. Now the lady that answered the phone however did not get off so easy. Have you ever had this happen?
