What i mean by screamo would be hard rock. With the vocalist yelling and screaming. Well, i personally don't appreciate such music. I don't know how to. I know many young boys love blasting such music. Please enlighten me, how and why do you like such music? If you don't listen to screamo music, do you enjoy such a genre?

Hey At times i listen to such music but its not hard rock its punk rock ( atleast u can understand its lyrics) hehe..I can't listen to hark rock, singers screaming, music is too loud, putting their best effort to sing the best, still you can't understand them.. lol. I don't prefer listening to hard rock, its gives me an undue tension. hehe Cheers!!

At the Drive In and The Mars Volta are really the only true screamo bands I listen to and even those I kind of have to be in a mood for. Usually an angry or highly stressed, need to get my frustrations out kind of mood. They are good substitutes for breaking things which is what I would rather do but can't afford to replace the things I would break

I love screamo. I'm in a screamo band. And at first i thought it was just like a way to let your anger out and be like "f*ck you" but no it has a meaning. like listen to the song "Hey John, Whats your name again?" by The Devil Wears Prada its meaning is to be yourself and not be fake and most screamo bands are christians=] so the music is ver sentimental.
