Does anyone know any decent HTML guides? I mean, i'm planning on making a website, which'll hopefully in the long run earn me a bit of money. But i just cant understand for the life of me how people make some things the way they do... i mean, i get the graphics and all that sh!t, but its just the coding that catchs me. I only know a few basic pieces of coding... and i mainly got them from looking at other peoples website 'sources'... So does anyone know any HTML guides...? A guide that actually goes a bit more in depth then the basic 'make a table' and 'make something bold'.... ? Haha.

Hey, I am not trying to be rude but if you are reasonable old in age, don't bother starting now. I recommend installing Joomla which kinda already has the website template already there. You just put in your content and design your site. Well, that is what I am doing. When I start to make money, then I will start to learn html coding. I just don't want to learn html and make no money while doing so! Happy Lotting!

If I where you, I would check out the website HTMLgoodies.com This site is an excellent resource for all kinds of things to help you learn website development. The best, it is free! I would also get a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) HTmL Editor.

I like learning about html and there's a site that I regularly visit and I think you will find this site very helpful. The site is free and there are a lot of modules relating to html. Good luck. Andrew http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp

NOT A REFERRAL LINK www.utoronto.ca/webdocs/HTMLdocs/newHTML/intro.html This is a pretty good guide, which I have used before. Its very long, but very detailed, and excellent for a complete beginner. Good Luck!

When I was learning HTML I first went to davesite.com (after searching for HTML tutorials) and did the interactive tutorial. It is great because it teaches you the basics and you can see your results right there. After I was comfortable with that I bought myself a copy of The Complete Idiots guide to HTML. Keep in mind that CSS is more widely used now and allows for cleaner websites. davesite.com also has a tutorial for CSS. Check it out. For me it was great to be able to learn the code, type it in and see the results. It helped me remember and understand things better. Good Luck.

Hi You can go to flazx.com and download some books. Or you can go to http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp and learn online. If you want just a few "do this, do that", you can go to http://www.functionx.com/html/index.htm Or you can ask me, if you have something you want to do in an hurry and you don't know how... Friends are here for that...
