This one is for girls and ladies, actors and male cross dressers. What do you use to take off your make-up at night. I've tried lots of creams and washes, but they all take too much time. Nowadays I use a cleansing wipe that seems to do the trick pretty well. It's multi-purpose too, because afterwards I turn it over and carefully wipe it round the rim of the loo.

Just plain soap and water. I wash it first with hot water to open the pores, then I'll soap it, then I'll wash with ice water so the pores would close. Then I use a tonic to maintain muscle tone. But I don't put on a lot of makeup so it's not very difficult for me to clean up. Happy mylotting.

Gosh. Those extremes are very brave. The current advice is not to use soap on the skin of your face. There are lots of soapless cleansing products available for washing with now. I use them for washing in the morning. I don't always take beauty advice though as I think some of it is just to get you to buy new things. For example, I just can't believe in anti-aging creams.

Mineral oil -- its pretty much the main ingredient in all those fancy makeup removers, so why spend a mint for a fancy brand? :)

Yes. I've found baby oil is good too in the past. In fact, it's good for lots of things. I wrote an article about this which is showcased at Constant Content. You can see it at www.constant-content.com/MoreDetails/74506-Ten_Tips_for_Saving_Money_with_Baby_Oil.htm. (Think I got that right. Things like that will get much easier when I pass my 500 and can paste!)

I use the oil of olay cleansing wipes because, in addition to washing my face, it exfoliates and moisturizes. So, I'm saving a couple of extra steps.
