and waiting and waiting to see my babies (ceramic babies) here is a pic of a half done bundle baby. I still need to crochet the blankie that will go around it (it will b sewn to the body) and maybe crochet a bonnet for her.
I hope to get her done and get her listed by tonight on ebay and my website. Please let me know what you think of her. I have two others I am working on also. Atleast one will be a boy just need to get some blue yarn lol.

That's so cute!! You have a lot of talent. To do the ceramics, the crocheting, and sewing too. You're very artistic.

Thanks. I have mom on sewing detail doing bodies right now. I could do them but it frees me up to work on the heads and crocheted parts when she helps me out.

Yep there is. the only thing about boy babies (ceramic or clay not real ones) is they don't sell as well which is weird for me cause I personally love the boy babies.

That is adorable, I hope you post a picture when you have one totally done. Is this one of the dolls that have an opening in the back of the body, so a hand can go inside and move the little head/arms and feet ?? I love those little dolls, they look so real. And the movements of the body make them even more so. Good luck with your sales.

Thanks. No this is just a bundle baby but I will keep that in mind. I use to have one of those dolls too. they are cute.

Why do you sew the blanket to the body? Does that mean the body soft? I was thinking the body was ceramic like the rest of the baby.

These are soft body babies. I will be making some full body ceramic babies soon though. I like the soft bodies as well as the full bodies. these bundle babies have no arms and legs just a head. So that is why the blankie is sewn on.
