I don't like security systems

Yes, I know they help prevent theft. But most people don't know to make a slight adjustment for temperature changes. Window frames expand and contract with the weather. An uncle is out of town and the silly alarm went off all night Sunday night and all night last night. Now, he lives close enough to where we can hear the alarm but the control station calls each time the alarm goes off too. After the police go out a few times they begin to charge for each time they come out. This uncle isn't returning until Sunday. Maybe I won't blow the alarm up in the meantime. I don't know the code so I can't just shut it off. You would think as long as such systems have been out that they would realize this is an issue. They know to set them a little higher if a person has pets. All I know is I am exhausted.
