Its like one day it hits you one day and you realize, 'Hey, our kids are not babies anymore!' Today I had to sit back and just take it in and smile the feeling was so good because It just felt like I accomplished one of the biggest task in my life. I know my kids are not 18, but still, their moving on to a different stage in their lives (I found a pacifier under the bed!). I feel kind of silly posting this because I know their is soccer moms out their that are thinking, 'give me a break' but is there anyone out there that felt this? And I know theres families with kids young as infants and also school age so maybe it was different for you but when did you feel a sense of accomplishment raising your kids? I once had so much worry they wouldn't make it to 1 i was always so scared something would happen but here they are two beautiful girls 2 1/2 and 4!!!! No more bottles, no more binkies/pacifiers, no more tiny booties, less bibs, and in another month, no more diapers!!!!!!!!

Hi revellanotvanella My son is 8 years old now and to be honest I have forgotten when he was a toddler. I can understand the feeling that you feel accomplished that your kids are being semi-independent and are not so dependent on you. I hope that they give you a bit of a break so you can sleep and gain energy while they are asleep. You can save some money on diapers when they grow out of them. (c) ronaldinu 2009
