We did that once for my brother. He did not know there is going to be a celebration and we invited all his friends. We even ask everyone to wear red :)

Well I think when one time we had a candlelight snack on our room. I really want it that time, something different. We turn off the light, and have some snacks while talking, and we listen to music together and dance to it too. There is a day usually I treat her like a princess. The whole day I will do things for her and her just seating down, that makes her smile, and tell her hey just seat down and relax and watch me hahaha!

I would say, the best i've done for her i dont know if its considered romantic but, the day i talked to her parents for the first time. there was this incidence where we stayed in her dorm for the night then her landlady knew about it and told her mom bout it. it was her birthday then that's why we decided to celebrate it in a special way.i cooked for her then gave her my gift then we went to the carnival and it was late thats why we stayed there. anyway, you could probably imagine by now how furious her mom is. but have to stand up and tell her why i was there even if it would mean being scolded and get mad at. things end up well after that talk and her parents respected and accepted me ever since (i guess, hehehe)

Yes I would say that is romantic the fact that you approached the parents to stand by your girlfriend. My respects to you too!

I'm not sure if HE considered it as romantic but I think the day I told my father that I liked someone (him) and implied that I was going to be in a relationship with him (I seriously stood out to my father) is the most romantic/courageous thing I did for him. I think laying my pride on the line made it romantic :) Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I'm single now but with my last mister, we had a long distance relationship so every couple of weeks or so, whenever I got the notion, I would send him an email or call when I knew he was in class and wouldn't answer his phone, and say I love you. Nothing else, just that. If it were an email, that would be the whole message. No subject or anything just I love you. If it were a voice mail, I'd just wait for it to beep, say "I love you," and hang up. He loved it!

Dont know if I qualify as a romantic but I did write a song for a girl I was madly in love with.At the time I thought she was teh girl I would marry and so I didnt have a probelem making a fool of myself so to speak .The sad ending to sucha beautiful story is that I found out in time that she wasnt the one for me and didnt give her the song .It would have been like wasting a bath on a pig sorry for sounding so bitter but that was how I felt then. Now we are stiil on talking terms and the realtionship has improved from then .
