Hi everyone! The weather is making me lazy and feeling sick. Not that I hate the cold weather but I am uncomfortable with it. I'm feeling lazy taking a bath, dressing up and even doing my regular chores at home. I had to wear my PJs almost the whole day cause I feel cold. I even sleep with my sweater on and still under a blanket. I also had socks on so cold won't get onto my feet. It's been cold since the start of the year and I think this year in the Philippines, this is the coldest. People inside the house feels the same too. Almost everyone is having colds. I think I'd rather like the rain than the cold breeze. I can't stand the cold breeze touching my skin and face. It makes me shiver and it affects my mood making me lazy. What about you? Does weather sometimes affect your mood? Which weather do you prefer more - rain or cold breeze?

I hate cold weather it makes me just want to come home and go back to bed. Cold weather seems to put me in a depressing mood. When the weather is nice like in the spring when the birds are chirping and the flowers are blooming it puts me ina good mood. I don't mind a gentle rain but pouring rain puts me in a bad mood. Yes weather affects my mood at least.

Spring is nice and hearing birds chirping can somehow makes us smile. Maybe the sunny and bright weather makes us feels bright too seeing beautiful bright colors.

Yeah that's the perfect weather for me too. I think I would even die if I have to stay in America during cold seasons

Hi iskayz, It does...I am the same here, I don't take a shower right away which is my regular routine. I need to wait in the afternoon when all my senses are ready! LOL! I have socks also during night time and I feel very grumpy and lazy!

Hehehe yeah I think taking a bath during cold weather is the hardest thing to do. There was even a time I forgot to take a bath cause all I did was curl up on bed and on the sofa.

Yes it does. I really think there are weather conditions that will certainly affect the way we work and also affects our mood. This has been proven a couple of times already.

hello i would agree that this is the only time that i can think of as the coldest even if the sun goes out from time to time but it is still windy. i have heard that this will run until march this year so we we all have a hard time getting out of the bed every morning. I too find myself lazy these days. i just want to bum in bed and sleep the entire day but of course I can't do that since I have to go to work so I got to fight this challenge of getting up and going to work everyday!!! i would choose a cold breeze rather than the rain for i don't like getting wet. heheheheheh.

Thinking about the cold weather we are experiencing right now, it's much better than the summer heat. Maybe I'm just not use in cold weathers. Our weather now is really colder than the past years.

Yes it does. When it is too cold I feel like a bit moody. If it is raining I don't feel like going out. I just put the heater on a blanket and I don't feel like going to work. If it is too hot it makes you feel lethargic and sweaty and it makes you feel sleepy. So yes the weather does have an effect on us.

It depends where I am at to have the weather affect my moods. I live in Central Illinois and we get very cold winters and often we have lots of snow. We can have a foot of snow fall during the night and the next day will be freezing cold but with brilliant sunshine. I love that - the snow sparkles. They clear the roads so we are not stuck in the house unless we want to be. Even after dark we can look out of the window and see the moon and stars most of the time. Right now I am in England and it is so different. My husband has an apartment (flat). It is in the middle on the bottom level of three stories. We look out of the front windows and see the back of another three story block of flats. The back windows give us the view of the front of another three story block. The weather for the most part - while not as cold as in Illinois is dull and miserable and we rarely see the sun. Clouds and rain is almost an every day occurance. It goes dark early and comes light late. For the majority of December we had about 6 1/2 hours of daylight. We have the curtains closed when it is dark to keep people from looking in so for a big part of the 24 hours in a day we are behind closed curtains and I feel like I am in a box. I have my choice wether to read, knit, watch TV or get on the computer. If I sit in the chair to watch TV then I fall asleep. I do not drive here in the UK but if they have any snow everything comes to a standstill. A 1/2 inch of snow stops things - we deal better with a foot than they deal with just a sprinkling of snow or even a heavy frost. I hate the winters we spend in England and hope that once we get my husbands visa sorted out we will be in South West USA where it is for the most part sunny and warm year round and we will be about 30 miles from the Gulf of Mexico and can take off there when we feel like it. No I don't hate winter but my moods change depending on which side of the Atlantic I am on.

Definately, it's been so hot here for the last few days, it's hard to feel like doing anything, it's horrible to go out in and I keep getting a haedache. It's summer here, I much prefer something more moderate, like spring.

Yep, it's cold alright, and i think it affects everybody's mood. In my case, it makes me wanna have someone to snuggle with all the time, but my boyfriend is an hour's drive away from where I live, so that's a bit of a problem :-/ So i settle with hugging my pet cat instead :D But I think this feels much better than sweating right after I take a bath, or developing my biceps while fanning myself really hard because it's too hot. Plus, the cold weather keeps my makeup on longer, making me feel a wee bit prettier ;p Lastly, I like the cold breeze better than the rain. Rains here in our country always bring floods somewhere... :c

If it is cold, rainy, cloudy, or just looks gloomy outside, I tend to feel less motivated about things in general. Now, if it is hot, and the sun is shinig bright, I am ready to go out and conquer the world.

The winter blues is on. I too am really feeling lazy because of the cold. I always wish the office will not call me up for work since I'm on a per diem basis. I just want to wrap around my comfortable bathrobe and not do anything but watch tv or get online not that much load of work. Right now it's snowing outside and it's really very cold. It's making me sleepy and lazy at the same time.;-)

There's a condition called Seasonal Affective Disorder (appropriately called SAD). People with this disorder are constantly affected by changes in weather. During rainy, cold, or otherwise poor weather, they experience depression, fatigue, loneliness, and other such feelings. Millions of people are affected by the disorder (I happen to be one of them). So fret not, there are millions of people feeling your pain. Fortunately, we're headed toward Spring and the weather will get better before long.
