How do you react when someone compliments you or tells you stuff like these:
- You're beautiful.
- You're gorgeous.
- I love being with you.
- You are so smart!
- You look really good.
- You're sexy.
What if someone insults/criticizes you? Tells you for example:
- You're ugly.
- You should have done better.
- I should not have depended on you.
- You're dumb.
- You're really fat.
- He/she looks better than you.
I shy away from compliments. I don't know how to react. I just keep quiet. As for criticisms, I just say, "Okay, thanks" to the person.
Do you take compliments and criticisms well? How do you react?

I often negate compliments.
Always try to say something that would prove me unworthy of their compliments. Like, "nice clothes" they'd say but, I'd reply with, "no, I just bought this at a cheap price." Yeah I know, you call that false modesty.
Instead of just accepting compliments of others, you try to put yourself down more.
When it comes to criticisms, it depends. I mean, if its contructive, I pretty much welcome them but, if its for insults, well, two can play on that game (^_^")
