How many house plants do you have in your home right now?

I need more house plants - I love being surrounded by an environment that is constantly full of life. We have four plants (two in the kitchen, two in the living room) right now, but I would love to have more. I'd love to have plants in every room of my house, eventually, but then I'm afraid I'll overwhelm myself and they'll die. How many house plants do you have in your home right now?
