Do you feel "slumdog millionaire"brought the image of India down?

Yesterday I saw this movie. It is simply a superb film. No wonder it won four awards from,Golden global awards,which is considered as next to oscar awards. This film is about a orphan from mumbai slum area,winning twenty million rupees in a TV program. I am very happy personaly to see my favorite music director,ARR,getting this prestigious award.I think every Indian should be proud of it. Now some people feel this picture is puting the image of India down,for showing the slum area.As far as I am concern,I feel they have shown only as much as the story demands.Let this film open the eyes of our policy makers and politians,even after six decades of independence,that the poverty is not eradicated and needs more to be done.
