Did you see Anne Frank on the BBC?

I didn't really know that much about Anne Frank until I read her diary! I found it mind blowing how she went through all the stuff ordinary people go through but unlike us she had to do it in an attic where there was nowhere to go to get your thoughts together and deal with what was happening. Also on top of lack of space living there full of people and some that she didn't really like! I tried to think waht would happen to me if I lived there and I think it would have driven me insane! I am really thankful for the fact that she wrote the diary so that we can see how lucky we are nowadays! I try now to not complain about too many things ie credit cruch becuse Anne Frank had it so much worse. I did watch 4 out of 5 of the BBC series and I think taht they were so well made and as they really brought it to life! You can buy it on BBC DVD - saw it in a classroom in UK!

Hi gemma~I didn't see the story on the BBC since I don't live there and get that channel but I do know the story really well! It is a very sad story and yes it is very true! She was a very brave young lady! It was a very terrible time in those days and she did a very brave thing. I remember when I read the book and then saw the movie. I cried too! And I knew people in real life that lived through that awful time and it was even worse than the movie described.
