Does anyone else have the MLB Network? As you may have guessed, it's a channel devoted to baseball. It debuted on New Year's Day but I just discovered it last week and was immediately hooked. I've been hoping for something like this for a long, long time. I'm not into any other sports and hated that I would have to sit through the others while waiting for news, scores, highlights, etc. Now I can get what I want right away. There's not a whole lot of original programming at the moment but they do have a few shows on right now with more to come in the future. I'm sure things will really kick into gear once the season starts or maybe even before then. They've been airing a promo for spring training vists with all the teams. What do you think? Have you discovered MLB Network yet? If you'd like more information, here is the link to the website. http://mlb.mlb.com/network/

Like you,I love baseball & the idea of a 24 hour channel baseball only is a great idea. However if this program features Yankee,Red Sox,Dodger,Mets & gives little of the other ML teams it will not catch on with the majority of baseball fans.

I knew that it debuted last week around New Year's Day, but I haven't really checked it out. I am sure I'll be on it a little more once pitchers and catchers report for Spring Training and news is fast a furious, but with the NFL playoffs and my favorite NHL team having the best record in the NHL, I haven't had too much time to really check it out more than a couple of minutes on "All-Time Games" or something like that. It's exciting to think that there's going to be a source for stats and highlights once the season begins without having to wade through Sportscenter's quick-hit format. Maybe a little more in-depth coverage and analysis. I can't wait!
