What do you think of the American Idol hopeful who auditioned wearing a bikini?

I think that the bikini-clad contestant depends on her looks a bit too much. Her showing off her assets was a gimmick, just like many other contestants go into the audition with a gimmick. However, she was not a good singer in my opinion and I get irritated when mediocre singers get through to the next round. American Idol is a vocal/performance competition, not a beauty pageant.

It definitely won't get her any farther than Hollywood, but hey, she's now the infamous, 'Bikini Girl.' Glad I didn't audition in her city, I would have been pissed! I bet the crowd booed when she made it through!

I think she is a snotty little piglet and even though they sent her through, she is NOT going to be the next American Idol!

I felt that she was a spoiled brat! She was cocky and thought that she was it and she didn't have a good voice. I wasn't impressed by her bikini and I am not sure that the judges were either. I think that it was more of a publicity stunt than a real audition and contestant. She will never get beyond Hollywood's first auditions.

I assume that you're a man, because only a man would say that, unless you're a l-- Anyway. So she got to Hollywood. It's just because the boys saw Top and Bottom, that's all. But her cattiness won't get her nowhere. Unless she wants to go the diva route like Mariah Carey--THEN she might be on to something. I think that AI contestants should have psycho tests, too. Because if there are going to be more people like her in the future we're all going to go bonkers--not because of the rockin' bodies and stuff, but with the attitude that reeks of Dumpsters. P.U.

It may have got her to hollywood, but it wont get her far after that. Because i wont vote for her at all if she continues to try to use her body to get ahead. instead of her voice which was not that good to start with. They need someone to let go the first week. Might as well be her.

My husband kept saying "I don't care what she sounds like, she is the best singer." But seriously, the bikini may have gotten her to Hollywood, but it's not going to get her any farther than that!
