How is it that nobody likes to talk about freebies?

I have decided over the past several months that freebies are amazingly fun. I love the concept of getting all sorts of random stuff for free. I guess people get frustrated with all of the scams out there, but you just have to know where to look. I recommend a couple of websites that I have found to be trustworthy. Slickdeals.net is great for anyone that likes a good deal. Giveawayoftheday.com is fun because they offer a new computer program you can download for free each day. I've downloaded lots of fun stuff. Anyways, where does everyone else go to get free stuff?

Hello, I love freebies. I too go online and search for many free items. I have never heard of the ones that you have visited. So I am going to go check these ones out. I like to go to about.com and shop4freebies and freaky freebies. Shop4freebies.com always has great stuff. They put up new items every 24 hours and plus you can go their forum to get more freebies. To me when you go online for freebies and stuff and wait till they come in and because you don't know when you will get the stuff it's like Christmas all over again each time. I think freebies is the best thing that ever came around because it is a way to also get help with stuff to save money. Happy Mylotting

I like to talk about them! No one else does, at least here on Mylot, it seems like the 'freebies' section is incredibly quiet...I mean this discussion alone was started 4 years ago it appears! . Instead of starting a new discussion I decided to respond to this one, not totally sure why but whatever. I love freebies. The only site I really know of to get them on though is on Walmart.com. I don't really know of any other good reliable freebie websites or blogs or forums. Do you?!

Hi, I have no idea why people don't like to talk about freebies. Maybe they think that most of them are scams and they might think that they can't possibly give them free stuff. I have gotten cash, cheques, and a few Prepaid MasterCard gift cards which you can use anywhere in the world wherever MasterCard is accepted. But if you want to sign up to some freebie sites, I have to tell you that you must choose carefully because their are many freebie sites that lie to you. Most freebie sites out their actually require you to pay some money to complete an offer, and then refer about 10 friends. I hate this method, because each of your referrals also need to complete one offer each. But a number of sites that I have signed up on actually give you totally free stuff, because their offers are smaller ones which only give you a couple of cents to a couple of dollars per offer completed. I can't really share any sites or else they will delete my posts. Have a great day!
