do you also forget that you just did something?

I find it annoying when I suddenly stop mid stride and think that I forgot if I locked the door on my way out. Then no matter how hard I try to remember, I can't seem to recall if I really DID lock the door. But when I turn back to check, I'll see that I didn't really forget...

i thought it was only my problem. I call my friend to tell him something then we got involve in taliking about any other thing for some time. THen i forgot what i called him for. THat reallys annoys. ANd when he s gone then i remember. Same is the case when i go to shop something for home. I usually forgot what i had to bring and always forgot 1 or 2 thing.

I know I hate when that happens myself. Sometimes though, when I think like oh maybe I forgot to lock my door or turn off the lights on my car or even in another room. When I go back and check, most of the time, I did forget to do that and I'm glad that I had that feeling. But I did have those times, when I did do it and thought that I didn't. I guess sometimes, its always good to double check.

wow that's kinda annoying right? i think i rarely doing those kind of things. but maybe you should make a small note everytime you walk out your door, like write a very short message that you already lock the room and then everytime you worry, just check your SMS draft. maybe that will work.. it works for me :D .. wait.. oh, d*mn! i forgot to lock my room! -_-;

i absolutely and totally understand what you mean. I usually do that with my car instead of house though. Its like ... i'll walk away, and when im near my destination, someone would ask me, did i lock my door, or the thought would suddenly pop into my mind ... and then if i couldn't think if i really did or not, i'll have to walk alllllll the way back, and like 99% of the time, the door would have been locked =.=''
