A filipino idol joins journey and entered the rock music scene

I like listening to different types of music. Slow rock crossed my mind when I saw this fellow filipino on my tv screen. His fairy tale happened when a Guitar God from the classic band "journey" saw his performances on you tube and was amazed because he was singing from Led Zeppelin to Sting but they say when he did songs of journey, it was a revelation.
I think this guy is good. He is very humble and has a huge passion in singing.
Steve Perry will always be a legend but Arnel Pineda will always honor that.

Wow! same here, i was amazed at his performance. I'm watching him everyday in youtube! There's an overlooked interview by CBN about him came out Arnel is missing his family and struggling with the non-stop tour. Arnel commented it to be overlooked. Anyways, I think he performs really good and I saw good comments of about him. Sure he cannot replace Steve Perry but he definitely revived Journey. Many people are amazed with Arnel and his story. They even compared his life in the movie of Mark Walberg about a Rockstar. And most of them commented that Arnel's life is like a movie and the movie Rockstar brought to life. I am so proud of Arnel Pineda. Let's support him more, he needs our support. By the way it is also once quoted in an interview to other band members they said "since we got Arnel, he changed us to be bettermen and we had new set of fans as well (he's talking to filipinos). What's good about Filipinos is that, whenever there's someone who excel we have all our support. Congrats Arnel.
