i have been trying to find something to watch and i cant find ANYTHING and all the lists i found have been nothing but what i have ALREADY seen and so grr!! im sick of starting up movies just to turn them off!! i like slashers, thrillers, serial killers, ghosts, antichrist, vampires, saw types, etc.. i dont like monsters at all so any mutated animals i will pass on lol.. i know i posted a LONG time ago wanting vintage horror but im desperate!! new or old i dont care!! so are there any lists of "best horror movies" around that are actually not made by corny pre-teens that pee the bed every time some one says BOO! ??

I not really into horror movies. But if you can provide some of the site you have already been to, I may be able to give you some that are not on your list. This is possible cos we live in different halves of the world. And the horror genre we have here may not be the same as the one you are having. Let me know a little more so that I can get a better idea of what you like. The other way is to look towards the Thai movies. They have some pretty good horror movies that do make my hair stand on ends thinking about it. Some of the head titles I can think of is: Shutter The Eye Maid Double Vision They are all pretty good horror that is not a monster flick. Hope you like them.

I saw double vision and found it to be pretty good. I have yet to watch shutter. I may get it some day. But like I said, horror is really not my kinda thing. May I ask why you like to watch them?

dunno about any lists.. and youve prolly seen these already cause theyre fairly new.. but my "faves" list is as follows... look for the trailers on youtube. 1. The Messengers - serious creep factors.. best thriller horror scary to come down the block in YEARS 2. The Eye 3. The Village 4. The Exorcism of Emily Rose 5. An American Haunting 6. Rose Red - prolly one of my absolute favorites of all time, can watch it repeatedly 7. The Haunting - another all time repeat watchable

I'm a big fan of horror movies too, and I like to talk about horror movies I would love to help you find a list of horror movies, but I need to know a list of the movies or sites you've already seen and been on, so I can find a list of films you event seen, but I do have a couple of film titles you might not have seen yet, if you have let me know ghost story is a good classic horror film that was made in the 80tys and its kind of under appreciated by some but you might like it I loved this film and Dracula starring frank mengele me and my sister thought that film was one of the good dracula films, um I might come back to this post with some more titles if I can find the right site for you.

Well I personally always go to rogers video site, they list most of the movies that they carry. If that doesn't work for you, you could always try SurfTheChannel, they list everything there and the great thing about this site is that they list by genre so you'd most likely be able to find a movie you want there. I hope that helps, I know personally that is where I go.

Why don't you go on RottenTomatoes.com and check? They must have sorted the movies out by genres, and you also get a basic synopsis and reviews on each of the movies as well. I'm not sure if they have EVERYTHING though. I'm not a big fan of horror films, I've only watch Halloween and The Exorcist, and that was during a sleepover with all my friends (who all ruled me over and insisted that we watch a horror movie, to my distaste).
