hi all! a house is a form of shelter and is considered as one of the basic needs of humans (food, clothing, shelter, etc.). the less-fortunate are already grateful with having any form of shelter. for people who are more fortunate, such people focus on their house not just being a house. some of us tend to make our houses reflect our personalities based on interior and exterior design. some of us focus on the location of the house for socialising or for security purposes. and some of us view our house as a form of disposable investment. and some of us view our houses as our links to our families, especially if it was an inherited house. and of course, depending on the personality and financial capability of the person, he or she may be happy with just one house. while there are some who would like to own two or more houses. in your case, would you own more than one house? if so, how many and why? thanks and happy mylotting!

I could not see having more than one house. The one seems to be a chore to keep up with, having two would seem a task. I see my home as a place my partner and I can enjoy eachother in privacy. Our place, with our personality. The idea of being able to live elsewhere is a nice one, but at that point I would just move or have a trip planned.

If I could, I surely would. But not so much to live in them, but to provide housing and or flip them over. Where I live, we need to take some of these homes that are left to rot and redo them and energize the community. I would love to do it but money is scarce and not only that, that Freddie and Fannie make me nervous. So, that is that.

I was grown up in a very cosy and warm environment. We had a very good home which was well decorated, well furnished and well kept.I loved my room too.I had taken personal interest to decorate it with lots of paintings and artistic impressions. After my marriage i had to move to my husband's house. The house is very old and not kept neatly by his parents. The furniture is very old and the celinigs are very short.I do not like the house at all.I want to make a new house with all basic amenities and features .I will keep it well furnished and neat and clean.I hope my dream of my new house come true as soon as possible.

I probably would just want to own one house. I think that the cost of maintaining one house is probably enough, probably don't need more than one home anyways. I'm not too big into the whole "vacation house" thing, I don't think it's necessary. Unless of course I win the lottery or get a really high-paying job in the future and earn lots of money, I would just stick to owning one house.

well as u said there are many different kind of people.... with different thinking..... about the word house....... there are some mmiddle class people who find themselves fortunate to own one house and that house they try making into a home..... there are many upper middle class people who try having two houses so that they can give the other house to their son or daughter after they get married....... then there are the rich people who have a little too much money all the time.... so they think in the form of investments.... so they go into buying more than two houses.... so they can give it out rent or keep one in each state so that they would be able to enjoy the comfort of home even when the place is not home...... as for me i would be interested in buying one house and try to make it a home rather than go for too many houses and leave them as houses...... if someday i have a little too much money to spare then i would go in for properties rather than constructed houses.... cos you can do much more on a property rather than with a house..... if i own a property i could construct a farmhouse, hospital, school, factory anything i wish11 or anything that i am interested in at that point in time....... happy mylotting to you too.... !!

Hi!.... Mabuhay ka! mazdakid.... ^_^ Actually that is one of my dream to be fulfilled sooner or later. lol ^_^ To have more than one house. All has its different functions. The First house. This is the only one. Is where I actually my home sweet home together with my family. And this is also my working area or my office for my business, because I really want to work at home only instead of having on a real crowded office building. I want an office or working area at home only. I think it is more practical and economical. The Second Houses. Compose of three to ten houses. These are on a farm or agriculture land. I like to farm, plant and livestock. And in here is where one of my income comes from. The Third Houses. This is maybe more than one houses. lol..... Because these are vacation houses. On some beautiful sandy tropical beaches or on some refreshing secluded forested area at a mountain site or in a ridge. The Fourth Houses. These houses are my other homes or houses on some other countries I like to live also.... ^_^

I own a house and a condo and if I was ever in a position to do so, I would love to own two more. I've always dreamed of having a cottage on a lake and I would also like a place near the ocean. Now all that I have to do is pay off the ones that I already have and save a whole lot more money!

To most people I think, they dream of having more than just a house. To me, personally, if my finance allows, I'd very much like to have two or three houses. One house is for me and my wife to live in, and the other two would be for my children or for renting.
