In Singapore, with the entry of budget airlines few years back, i'd seen alot of cut throat airfares offered to everyone. let me quote an example: just received a newsletter from one of the budget airpline in Singapore, offering SGD $2, single trip to Phuket, Thailand and prices for other destinations that are near Singapore starts from SGD $22. with such an unbeliveable airfare..who's not tempted to travel.

Well, the airfares are at an all time high.Mainly due to the rise of fuel prices.The airlines have no option to lower the prices.They are trying their best to keep it as low as possible.
