Naked Soldiers?????

Celtic warriors sometimes fought their battles naked, their bodies dyed blue from head to toe.
To the women - what do you think of this?
To the men - would you do this?
Sounds cold. I, as a woman would find this interesting except they don't fight here.

well they only did this in order to scare of who ever was invading ie. the romans but id say it became old fast and I think a proper battle armor would do a much better job!!

althou as a man I would be showing how manly I am. my only only concern is that my manlyhood could be endangered. however to reap the spoils of war, this style of fighting would be fast and quick, no need to drop trow.

I think of it as highly entertaining as I also love to read about any romance books with a Celtic in it....LOL
it does sound very cold and I have no info as to why they do it but I have heard of it before... the blue goes all the way back to William Wallace...but I cant remember why right now....LOL
