There was a 19th century Native American tribal chief who went under the name, "Not Able to Fornicate." What a bummer! Do you have any nicknames that actually are applicable. I know we name big people tiny or bald people curly. But any nicknames that are real?

I had a nick name that always embarassed me. Growing up my foster mom's family owned their own business. Well at first my dad was partner, then around 1990 he split and started his own business. It was a delivery service. We'd do local delivery for businesses around town. One of the things we did on a regular basis was bring stuff from the hospital or red cross to the bus station. It was usually a medium sized box that was full of dry ice and probably a specimen. Sometimes it was just a specimen but it was still in a very large box. Either way these boxes were very light, although a bit large. Anyways, my mom and I would do some of these deliveries, and the guys at the bus station thought it was funny to see 2 ladies (well, a petite lady and a little girl) carrying these large boxes that looked like they should be heavy. So they began to call my mom "Butch" and they called me "Moose". My nickname stuck, and my whole family started calling me Moose. It wasn't a big deal as a child, I just lived with it. But as I got older, I began to realize that it was making it sound like I was a very large person, and sad to say, as I got older I got heavier. I never got overweight or obese (until after my twins were born, lol) but the fact that I was a bit above average made me detest the nick name.

Excellent subject! I am mostly called 'Spike' as my nickname, because my real name is common and there's always someone with the same one wherever I work. Since I got the nickname when I had spiky hair, I suppose it makes sense! One person at University used to call me 'cat man', because I love cats and am very like one in personality. It was only one person, though, and the name never stuck. Most of my other nicknames are generally rude or jokingly insulting... lol!
