Is any one familiar with CIAO? Please help?

I had read so many different discussions regarding CIAO. I was very interested so I joined. Now that I am here, I am afraid I am at a lost. I dont know how to make money, How to friend request, or anything else for that matter. If you are a member of CIAO, please contact me. I really want to get started but I am afraid I dont know where to begin. COULD YOU HELP ME PLEASE? Thanks to everone dl

I had the same problem...I couldn't figure out where to go and what to do. Nothing made sense to me and try as I might, I could not figure things out. To me it was a waste of my time and yet I hear others raving about it.

Mstickle I am beginning to think you and I are twins. Youre the cuter one.lol Everytime I read a discussion or a response from you I am amazed at how much we see things so similarly. I hope you dont mind that I say that. Its just sooooo good to know that somewhere there is another woman who thinks similar to myself. Its good to know. thanks again for a wonderful response. dl

I have to say that perhaps it's a little bit late for you to join in Ciao. Actually I regret that I was active in Ciao so late. I started to write reviews since last month. However, USD0.25 for per review is gone. It's not easy to earn money from it today. As they will judge the first, second and third prize according to the rating you get. Now every review is zero, unless someone rates it as useful so that you can earn one cent from it. I love China

Thanks for the input. As earning money is nice, its not the only reason I want to join. I like the idea of giving my input on products and services I have used in the past. I also like to be able to research an item before I buy it. Thanks dl

I am a member of Ciao (UK) and I earn money by writing articles about consumer products. I first of all listed all the products I could write about around my home, and search the product on the Ciao site, and wrote my article review about that particular product. When I next logged into the site, there was a list of other members that had rated my article review and my earnings start to mount up. In return, I went and read/commented on their articles - and made them my friends, similar to myLot. From time to time, I also get surveys to do for which I get paid, when I complete them. I have set my Ciao preferences to receive notification to my e-mail address whenever someone read and comments on my reviews or when there is a survey to do. I have been paid several times without problem and have been with Ciao about 3 years. :-) Hope this helps. Derek

I kind of fell upon it and I seem to be really confused. I think I understand but how do I get friends. I do I get to see someone elses review?

I've become familiar with them. I'm currently beating my head against a wall trying to persuade them that one of their members has stolen and copied an article of mine from Helium. So I'm not really in the mood to recommend the site.

I am sorry I hit a nerve. I do hope you fix the situation. How do you write articles and why. If you dont mind. I thought it was just reviews. I am so confused.I have recieved a lot of great help.I dont feel as lost. I just was wondering when you have a minute if you could explain that part to me. Or is an article the same thing as a review? None the less I hope it all works out for you. dl

Yes I am.. I am ciao member and I have earn money from this site. But I think this site doesn't give us a lot of money now. When I joined this site, this site gave 1USD/review, but it decreased to 0.25 USD/review.. But if you want to start with this site. I will tell you. First just sign up and then you look for the product you want to review. And then you have to make a review (don't make quick review because it is wont give you anything) and than you also can rate and comment other people's review to earn more money.. That's all you have to do..
