What are your BEST/WORST experiences in some of the Airline Companies?

My first long flight experienced was going to Amsterdam. It was almost 18hours of flying with a One stop of 2 hours in Singapore. It was horrible! The Airlines put me on hold for almost 3 hours in their Check-in Area asking for my RETURN ticket which is not their right. I was bringing with me the print out of the letter from the Embassy saying that one way ticket is sufficient in my case eventhough I have a Tourist Visa in my passport. It should be the Immigration or the Passport Control in the airport who is obliged to do that. I was stressed and made me vomit in the airplane in which I am not happy. My 3 hours on hold was supposedly the time for me to eat and relax while waiting for the boarding time. Let us NOT MENTION the Airline companies please!!!

That is a shame because having flown in and out of Singapore's Airport I would say it is one of the best airports in the world. However the airlines vary considerably and it is terrible to be stressed when traveling in a plane. I flew to the USA and they saw I had a one way ticket so were happy when I showed them my onward ticket because I was flying around the world.
My worst flight was from London to Sfax via Tunis. It was very bumpy in the air and I had coffee spilled all over me. I suffered sickness on landing and terrible ear pain. The cabin crew were not very friendly. My best flight was when I got a free upgrade from Male to London. It was a ten hour flight from the Maldives and it was incredibly comfortable. Service was excellent and so different from economy class. Other fantastic flights I have had because of the views like the pyramids, the reef, the islands and Sydney Harbor.
Good luck with future flights.
