What are some of your favorite song lyrics?

Most of us who listen to music tend to enjoy the lyrics as well. What are some of your favorite lyrics? Why are they your favorite? Is it because the music gives an atmosphere for the lyrics to really feel great, or is it just the poetry itself that is great? For me, one of my favorite songs (lyrically) is "Her Ghost in the Fog" by Cradle of Filth. One of the last lines has stuck with me for a very long time, "And I embraced where others rot/Her Ghost in the Fog." It is just a very moving ending in relation to love and death. How about you? What are your favorites?

I don't pay attention closely to song lyrics. I do pay attention to how the music sound though. Within maybe 2-3 times of hearing a music, I would know if I like a music or not. I'm a music lover, but I don't like all genres out there. I like punk rock, rock, pop, instrumental (piano) etc. I guess that the only time I would give attention to song lyrics is when I feel like singing with a song.
