Ok so I have already gone through a home collage program for web design I did it that way so I could be home with my son. I am not currently employed but I have not looked for a job in that field because I feel at the time I am more needed at home. Although I have been pondering the idea of starting my own business using my diploma from home which would allow me to have both things i want. What does everybody think about home based collages, do you believe you are getting the same quality of education or not? I dont think you are because things arise in a classroom settng that will not be taught in the text books. What do you all think.

well they don't work so well. and its college.. the most engaging part of being in college is the personal interaction you get with other students. if we all sit at home, that part is lacking and will not take you far. you could become a hacker, but that also takes years of advanced training. for the most part, online schools are just a way to take your money. i know my company does not accept online degrees, you must go to an accredited college and have proof of graduation, before you can even be considered for hire.
