Okay, I'm kind of embarrassed to say this but I am a scared y cat. I can not watch horror movies and have a real fear with them. I can't even see those freaky commercials or I get freaked out. I think it has something to do when I was younger and saw the "IT" clown movie and Chucky. Ever since them I have never ever watched a horror movie nor do I wish to. Is there anyone else that is the same way?

Hello mylotters, I saw this title and couldn't help but think of the time I was sitting in a movie theatre watching Jaws in 3D for the first time as a kid. I really made the big fat guy behind me upset when that dang giant fish leaped out of the screen! Apparently, I had jumped so far up in my seat that the popcorn flew out of it's box and right into this guy's lap!

wow, awww. I don't recall watching Jaws I've probably seen previews and avoided it. Do you have a fear of sharks now? I wonder who comes up with these movies but it works because I think there are tons of horror movie lovers.

Moi? a scaredy cat? pfft.....YES! lol, but I don't know about an actual fear of sharks. I don't get myself into places where we might meet up if ya know what i mean! Now, snakes are another story. The movie anaconda didn't really scare me per se, however, when they blew that damn up and all those snakes landed on the boat. I was like ewwwwwwwwwwww yuck! That freaked me out a little, maybe cuz it could actually happen right? I think I'm more scared of things I'm unaware of. For instance, if I'm walking through the woods, I know there could be a copperhead a few feet from me. Am I scared? Heck yes! Do I walk through the woods anyway? NO! lol...nope not me, back into the house I go to my cat bed! Break out a case of tuna and it's a party!

I think that Chucky has scared me as well. Because I remember when I was little and I saw that movie and I got so scared and I was scared of dolls that looked like him. My brother would always get mad when I got scared with the chucky movie though, because when the movie came on, our parents would make us both leave the room and he never got scared. Alot of other movies I got scared of. LIke believe it or not I got scared of the movie the "6th Sense" and "A House On A Haunted Hill" Both of those movies have gotten me scared to even walk in a dark room. The also kind of not so good thing that my husband loves watching horror movies and he is always into those type of movies that are about zombies. I am not that frightened when I see the previews of the movie and I'm like oh, that looks like a good movie. And then when we watch it I always get scared. Lol.

I guess I'm more of a scaredy cat than you, lol...even previews scare me and you see that image even if it's just for a second. Chucky is scary! I had a real life scare when I was walking around in downtown LA. You know how there are people that dress up like characters? Well there was a chucky look alike, I think he saw my fear because I was walking next to my husband and he came up to me and I hid behind my husband..that dang chucky look alike followed me!! I am forever traumatized. My husband later on was like, you were probably going to kick him. I was that scared! It was so mean!!

ME ME ME! LOL I'm terrified of most horror movies. People laugh at me all the time for it and that's fine :) I don't mind the teasing. I think it's not so much the "slash and gore" that gets to me... it's the suspense. That MUSIC... you know the way it sounds when you KNOW something is going to happen and you're just waiting for it? UGH. I'm NOT good with that. My sister had the same to "It", by the way. She has a deathly fear of clowns now. I couldn't even let my kids dress as clowns for Halloween around her *grin*

When I was a kid, we're fond of watching horror movies. I guess it was ok, though I'm a bit scared coz I know I have my parents to lean on when I get scared. But now that I got 2 kids, I really don't watch horror movies, coz most of the time, I'm left alone at home coz my kids are in school and my hubby's in the office. My daughter likes to watch horror movies with her cousins, but my younger child is scared... :)

What the? haha....Chucky rocks ya'll! A tiny little man with a big attitude? C'mon, he's a cocky little thing with a knife and 2 foot legs. He is pretty creepy when he comes to real life though. Does anyone remember that scene? Talk about red-headed step children. No, wait. I'm mistaken. Chucky sold his soul to the devil did he not?

I'm 25 and I hate anything scary. I avoid anything creepy to the best of my ability, and anytime at night that I hear a little noise, especially if I'm alone, everything scary I've ever seen comes into my head. My husband loves scary movies and I'm always telling him we can't watch them, unless he watches it during daylight when I can go outside and get away from it. If a preview/ commercial comes on that I already know is scary, I mute the tv and look away until I'm sure it's gone. I don't like being such a big chicken, but I can't help it! He always tells me 'it's just a movie' but I can't help thinking that if someone came up with the idea, then surely someone else could carry it out for real if they wanted to...
