How do you clean your laminate floors?

We have had laminate in our living room, hallway and office for a few years and I've tried a ton of different methods and products to get it clean. It seemed like everything I tried would leave it all streaky & smeary.
I finally found something that works great and as an added bonus it's super cheap. All I use now is a microfiber mop from Walmart and plain 'ol Windex! I just spray the Windex on the floor in sections and polish with the microfiber mop. Works like a charm!
What have you had success with when it comes to keeping your laminate clean and shiny?

Hi there. I have laminate floors as well. I just built this house and they are only a few months old with very little wear. There are many tricks to keeping a laminate floor shiny.
If you ever run out of windex or want an even cheaper method try mixing half apple cider vinegar and half baby oil. Of course, you'll want to try a little test spot in the corner first to see how your particular brand of flooring will react.

It might make a little bit slick at first but it wears off quickly when you mix it with the vinegar. They balance each other in ph levels. The vinegar cleans while the oil conditions. You can also use Murphy's Oil as well but is more costly.
I use windex or just plain water on my floors most of the time. I only use the mix about once every other month.
