If you have insurance - are you tired of the way they treat you?

doesn't it annoy the heck out of you, when
you try to call your insurance company, and you have to go
through a "maze" of pressing numbers on your phone, just to
talk to someone?
And another thing - what about these companies telling you what
doctor and even what hospital (in some cases), you can attend?
Then there is all of the stuff that they refuse to cover!
And why don't they cover PREVENTATIVE MEASURES, to keep from
getting sick, or improving various problems?
Why not cover vitamins - and things like theraputic massage, to
help with arthritus and other muscle and joint problems, and
why not at least a little towards joining a health club?
They charge an arm and a leg, and take their sweet time getting your
checks to you, or they tell you if you're a senior, that you
have to go through 'medicare' first - and those of you that
haven't as yet joined that, will find out that they are even more
finicki where treatments are concerned!! 1 response

Sounds like their not in the business of taking care of their customers but instead just making a quick dollar off of them because the wise thing would be those things you suggested, encouraging preventative health first. Whats gonna happen is many insurance companies are going to find themselves broke and leaving a lot of people hanging which I've heard to happen and its a shame. I don't have private insurance but Medicaid and I just try to take care of myself because I just do not feel like their looking out for me and I dont like hospitals.
