Do you have Chads?

I can't believe that in all the history of humanity there has not been the need for the use of a word describing adult children. Does anybody know what it is? My children are over 18 years of age now which makes them adults here. When I was saying at work that I did not have any children any more they thought there had been an awful accident. However, when meeting new people it is necessary to still use the term 'children' for saying that I have off-spring. Perhaps I just answered myself and they should be called off-spring - sounds painful. My mum and I decided they should be called 'Chads'. We thought 'adren' sounded a bit old-fashioned. So do you have any Chads?

I do. I also call my 20 yr old my child when writing about him. I have a 20 yr old, a 17 yr old, a 15 yr old and an 8 yr old. It seems that when describing adult children itis best to just use their name so people don't get confused.
