Rally if I think about the structure of snake itself I get trembled. I think many of us are afraid of snakes. Yesterday my relative was bitten by a deadly poisonous snake. Hence I didn't even sleep well. What about you.... Happy mylotting

I find myself more fascinated than scared. I have seen two in the past year on my residential property, both of them fairly small brown snakes, which are considered very deadly. I found it very interesting to watch the way they would become aware of me and ract. One reared up about two feet off the ground to have a good look at me, but I was well out of his range. Then it went calmly on its way. I love watching them move. I am very concerned that my dog may see one though, because he will attack if he does and will probably get bitten, but I'm not scared because I know enough about snake behaviour to avoid getting bit. Snakes are almost always just as scared of humans as hmans are of them, and if possible will keep well out of our way. To get bitten you either have to be very silly or very unlucky. They feel the vibrations you make as you walk, and get out of the way, so it's not easy to actually stumble across one. Of course if you live in snake areas as I do, you nevertheless keep an eye open when walking in snake habitat. I hope your relative gets well soon. Lash

Well I am scared that they are on the property and I am just glad that I have never seen one but I do know about making lots of noise and warning them of your presence so they can leave the area. I do hope they pay attention to all those rules and do that. I really do not want to meet a poisonous snake in my backyard.

Yea, it makes me afraid. But i try not be afraid or else i will end up bitten by snakes. I think we dont need to be panic on that. Just be sure you got knowledge in order to avoid snakes or to protect yourself from them. Dont go to snakes area, if you dont have protective suit, dont go and search where they lay eggs, dont hurt them unless you need to do that in case of trying not to be bit. Just stay away from areas that snakes like to stay.

Oh yes. I am terrified of snakes and I stamp the ground carefully when I am outside to let them know I am coming so they run away. I know that most snakes in my area are not aggressive as long as they are not threatened but they are also poisonous so I am very careful. I will always be scared of them and I shiver when I see someone handling them no matter how good they say the snake is.

naw, I'm not afraid of snakes. They're actually kinda neat. However, just like spiders, they don't need to be in my house. You stay in your space...I'll stay in mine...we're both happy.

Well, when I see experts like Jeff Korwin and (the late)Steve Arwen handle snakes like toys on tv, I get fascinated. But in real life, even if I see a snake that is 1 foot long and non poisonous, I will probably scream at the top of my voice and run . I hope your relative is recovering. My best wishes to you and to him.
