Who has a funny/unusual name for your pet? My cat's name is Captain Pugwash. She is a girl though and very fat.

The Most unusual name I have ever given to a cat was when Stormys Offspring and Moocheys offspring mated. So in honor of their great grandkitties.. I call her.. ThunderMooch, and Her brother MoocheXena.. :) They were neat, but they both proved their names were so odd they refused to come to them. lol. - DNatureofDTrain

oh yeah and then there was Grandpas cat that did not have name, so he jokingly told some child the Cats name was stupid, and they believed him.. So the Cat's name ended up officially becoming Stupid After awhile. At least it helped stopping people from Calling eachother Stupid. We'd go no no, that is Grandpa's cat! :).. Then when Grandpa passed on, Stupid Was my Cat... and to really make the story strange.. My sister accidently ran him over... So when everyone was bawling and crying over stupid half laughing at eachother at how weird it was to be hearing eachother going "I miss stupid!" Turned into an interesting mix of greif and Humor ... in the end. I love that cat, and my whole family did. Despite his Stupid Name. :) He was estimated to be 15 years old when my Grandpa took him to the vet when he got him, so he was at least 19... Was the oldest cat we had, and he was blind and deaf, but we could not stop him from wandering up and down the side of the road in the evening. He cut in front of my sister who was driving... Stupid must have cursed her because she ran over her own cat in the exact same spot, which was strange, a year later... - DNatureofDTrain

I have a Rott/Shepard mix and his name is Spoof, cause he's a big ol' joke, or a vicious hoax, we're not sure which. He thinks he's tough and he barks very viciously, but those who know him, know he's a baby. I also have a miniature Rottweiler and her name is Guenhwyvar. The pronunciation is Gwen-a-vere with a twisted spelling, thank you very much R.A. Salvatore. She was named for a 600 pound panther in a series of his books that I love.
